We are Marília and Julio, we are Giro. And Giro Pottery was born from a passion for art, combined with the satisfaction of getting your hands dirty, which in a short time resulted in beautiful ceramic pieces.
From kneading the clay, to modeling it with our hands, then to the potter's wheel, and before we realized there was already a very high temperature oven in the middle of the house.
We realized that these creations, these projects, these processes and all the universes that encompass ceramics were what we wanted for our lives.
Ceramics is our way of life: with clay in our hands, lots of research and studies, and mastering the high temperatures of the batches. Each piece that is born here carries with it a part of our dreams.

Details of our production
We work with porcelain, known for its resistance and durability, and also with stoneware, a material that gives a rustic characteristic and incredible texture to our pieces. Our goal is to create ceramics that convey the beauty, authenticity and passion we have for this ancient art.
We continually invest in new research and studies to improve our design of parts, tools, glaze composition and clay. Our glaze is made entirely here in the studio and we use 100% safe raw materials, so that our pieces are food-safe.
Our production is sustainable. All leftover clay, raw materials and water are recycled and returned to the part forming process.
